Despite Hamas falsely accusing Israel of bombing a hospital in Gaza, media outlets like the AP are still reporting “Gaza Health Ministry” body counts, most recently claiming the death toll among Palestinians passed 8,000 — “mostly women and minors.” They’re not looking for any “hallmarks of disinformation” for them.
AP reporter Kareem Chehayeb avoided the T-words on Twitter. On Sunday, his message was “Hezbollah secretary general Hassan Nasrallah speaks next Friday It will be the Lebanese leader’s first public address since the start of latest war in blockaded Palestinian Gaza Strip Dozens of Hezbollah fighters have died in ongoing clashes w/Israeli troops this past month.”
Bill D’Agostino made a video montage of the American media’s “colossal misstep” of blaming Israel for bombing a hospital in Gaza that they did not bomb. Were they apologetic? No, they quickly moved on.
It’s especially outrageous that after years of being lectured by so-called disinformation specialists in the major media, they’re now spreading the disinformation on behalf of Hamas. Networks like MSNBC, that told us Hunter Biden’s laptop had all the hallmarks of Russian disinformation? Now their daily reports bear the hallmarks of Hamas disinformation.
It is not inaccurate to say journalists are more willing to accept press-releases from terrorists than they would ever accept at a statement by Donald Trump, or other Republicans, or people they consider conservative talk-radio wackos. Their acceptance of Hamas handouts means they’re terrorism deniers.
We also discuss how reporters downplay the partisanship of Trump’s prosecutors, especially New York Attorney General Letitia James. Forget how many times she promised to prosecute that “illegitimate president.” (Election denier!) Plus CBS provides another long 60 Minutes puff piece for the Democrats, this time for Vice President Harris. Reporter Bill Whitaker gushed “If politics is a game, Kamala Harris has proven herself to be a savvy player, forging a career that has gone from one first to another.”
