‘Our enemies have only just begun to pay the price’: Netanyahu declares that Israel will ‘obliterate Hamas’

News & Politics

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the Jewish state will “obliterate Hamas” and that the nation’s war efforts so far have been “only the beginning.”

“We are pounding our enemies with unprecedented force, and I stress, this is only the beginning. Our enemies have only just begun to pay the price. I will not detail our plans, but I tell you, this is only the beginning,” he said, according to social media posts.

Netanyahu’s comments come as Israel retaliates in response to shocking atrocities committed by Hamas terrorists, including the murder of children. Israel has released images of slain babies. “Warning: These are horrifying photos of babies murdered and burned by the Hamas monsters. Hamas is inhuman. Hamas is ISIS,” the office of the prime minister of Israel wrote in a post on X when sharing photos.

Netanyahu vowed that Israel will not forget or forgive.

“We will never forget the horrific acts perpetrated by our enemies, and we will never forgive. We will not allow the world, or anyone, to forget these horrors, the likes of which the Jewish people have not endured in decades,” he declared. “We will obliterate Hamas, we will triumph. It might take time, but we will end this war stronger than ever. ‘May the Almighty cause the enemies who rise up against us to be struck down before them.'”
